Havamal 146:
The first one promises to help generously
In sorrow, sickness and pain;
In eternal change, man goes forth
From death to new creation.
Generous help, luck, eternal change, forward motion, binding, life/death/life, new creation, property, to grow, to wander, to destroy, to shred, guidance, Father, potential change reflected in a beginning; preface of that which is becoming, being and passing away; procreation, creative father principle, Alle-Vater principle. primal Fire, the power of spirit and change as well as the power of creativity, the Divine Masculine Principle, success, pure, generated fire that acts creatively in love, will that spares manifestation down to the material levels, necessity of change.
“Generate your luck and you will have it” (List, 49).

Outcome: Last night was one of the WORST nights for sleep that I can remember. Back pain ratcheted up. No relief in bed, no relief in either of the recliners, and no relief on the floor even after stretching. I took the same cocktail of OTC pain relievers that I took to get some kind of pain relief with the jaw pain from shingles. That did the trick and I slept a few hours on the floor, but was awakened with TWO MASSIVE leg cramps. I walked them out and eventually made it back to bed until 10:00 this morning.
*empathic support from my wife.
*this exemplifies WHY I appreciate 2nd shift much more. If I would’ve had this night while on 1st, no matter the pain, I would’ve had to go into work. On 2nd shift, with this kind of pain, I can sleep-in a bit if necessary.

MY SKC JERSEY FINALLY ARRIVED IN THE HANDS OF MY GERMAN BROTHER. I paid over $60 to get it there. For some reason he had to pay an addition 16€ for import duties? WTF?

PH for both of us.

It was a good night at work. My 1st shift colleague is not the sharpest tool in the shed. He’s been there for decades. He was taken out of the plant yesterday via EMS because he/they thought he might be having a heart attack. He tried to come back to work today without a medical statement saying he was okay. He was told to go home until he could acquire it. His coffee pot and tool bag were still out. He must’ve left in a huff.

Last check on all fur-kids.
