I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Elder Rune: Hagalaz: The cosmic seed of potential, a sacred enclosure/shell, shaping, evolution, protection within, holiness, a type of Godotuom; destruction/regeneration, evolution, destructive elements, unavoidable unpleasantness, pruning, potentially destructive but change will occur on its own given time.  Embrace the necessary destruction.  Don't rail against it.  Benefit from it.

Where hatred rises-up between man and man,
This I can settle fast.

Before I was @ work 30min, I already clocked 460min into a 480min shift.  How?  My first shift table-shaper colleague signed out his paperwork, but forgot to clock it out on the computer.  I made sure to check out his work, then on the computer I signed it out with the note stating so; nonetheless, I still got the minutes.  So, I think I got nearly 9hrs of minutes turned in for an 8hrs shift.
*the workload in the shop remains amazingly low.
*a bit of texting with J’s mother.  J’s pre-trial hearing has been continued until the 20th.  Don’t really know why and I don’t know which side did it.  It’s possible that someone is having trouble formulating a solid case.
*I think others are finally getting serious about getting him out on bond.  I really don’t care for throwing $1K to the wind, at the same time, I don’t want J to stay in jail.  As far as I know, there is absolutely no help coming from his christian father; my former and most evil christian-minister of a brother.
*After finishing “Ganesha Goes to Lunch”, the new book I’m reading over the dinner break is called “The Upanishads; Introduction and Translation by Eknath Easwaran”.  Thus far it seems comparable to the Havamal in the Poetic Edda, or Proverbs in the Old Testament.  It’s a snapshot of the Hindu culture on varying subjects.
Here’s are a couple of early examples:
From the Isha Upanishad
“Those who deny Self are born again
Blind to the Self, enveloped in darkness,
Utterly devoid of love for the Lord” (pg. 57).
Or
“The Self is everywhere. Bright is the Self,
Indivisible, untouched by sin, wise,
Immanent and transcendent.  He it is
Who holds the cosmos together” (pg. 58).

Last check on all fur-kids.  There was no sign of Socks when I got home, so I started calling him; no response.
<>
Shower, bed, nighty-night.
*THERE’S Socks on the front porch, patiently waiting to go into his house.

God/dess Meditation: Holle, magnificent German goddess, you who seem to be the perfect counterpart to Alle-Vater Wodan.  Just like Alle-Vater, you come to us with many names.  Just like Alle-Vater, you appear to us with many faces.  You have become known to us through place-names, fairy-tales, sagas, legends, poetry, customs, traditions, mythology, and yes, even food.  You are the young maiden.  You are the Old Crone.  You are everything in between.  You reward the diligent worker.  You punish the slothful.  Your Spirit permeates humankind.  We recognize you as a German Goddess!  Alle Mutter Holle, Goddess holy and wise, We give you a most HEART-FELT HEIL, as we honor the Holle that resides in us all.
