Morning chat with My Love My Fiancée. She was offered her dream job at a phenomenal wage. Two things prevented her from accepting it, she said “…for obvious reasons”. To me, it seems:

I celebrated with a stack of homemade pancakes for breakfast.

VA podiatry doctor said I was his easiest fix all day. Flat-feet with bone spurs and he sent me across the street to get fitted for custom orthotics.

These people scanned my feet, and I may also get a couple pair of specialty shoes; that is, if the VA approves them. The custom orthotics are a given. The extra shoes…well…we’ll see.

Moderate rain…I took toby to the end of the block and back just to get a walk out of his system.

It’s a cool enough day to justify testing Socks’ heaters in his house; successful!

So, evidently, I worked an order of parts that weren’t done right, but they were very fixable, YET, they were bought-off by inspection. Because the parts made it all the way to final assembly, they are scrapped, I am being held completely responsible, and inspection is completely off the hook. That boggles my mind.
*Hardly any work in the shop at all…boring effort to LOOK busy.
