I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price

A tenth one I sing, when dangers at sea forces me

To protect my ship from the stormy waves;
The storm I calm down, no matter how billowing the sea,
And I cradle the waves to sleep.

God/dess Meditation: (alternate Dienstag) Ostara, trustworthy goddess; wife to Brego (who is the adherent god of scalds), keeper of the golden apples of youth and eternal life, keep us young inside. When we are starving for laughter, hungry for the lightness that comes with having few years on our shoulders, slip us one of those gleaming fruits that we may see the world through youthful eyes. Let springtime be in our steps, love in our hearts and a song on our lips. Change us to the core! Fill us with optimism and dreams for the future. WE GIVE YOU MOST A HEART-FELT HEIL, OSTARA, as we honor the Ostara that resides in us all!
