Well SHIT! As I was getting ready to give Toby his afternoon eye-goop I noticed that he has been scratching around his anatomical left eyeball. I immediately jumped into high gear! The easiest thing to do was to call Blair Doon Veterinary for an eye pressure check which he has at 3pm. I then called K-State to let them know. They said to put him back under the cone, but I will let Blair Doon size him for that and trim his claws because I think that might be part of what’s caused this. I called work to let them know I probably won’t be in today due to Toby’s condition. I have been approved for a Union negotiated LWOP (Leave With-Out Pay). I don’t THINK I’ll have to drive Toby to K-State but I will if necessary.
*when I gave Toby his morning eye-drops there certainly was no sign of this so it has happened recently.
