(Gelomânôd = Yellow month)

1st check on all fur-kids; feeding was a challenge this morning.  Socks wanted to go into his house.  Stubby jumped the fence and followed inside.  I put Stubby outside but bolted back inside.  Socks bolted out and I s\put Stubby back outside.  I went in to get a cup of fresh kibble for Socks and Socks followed me back inside.  This time Stubby didn’t follow.
*I called Stubby onto the porch, to which he came.  Look-a-like was there, too.  HE was a bit agitated for some reason.  Stubby on the porch-rail with Look-a-like works well.

I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you've provided. I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.
* no doubt the ones who brought the family over from Europe.

A sixteenth I speak if a maid is reluctant,

To wake her lust and desire;
I change the heart of the delightful woman,
Then to me her wishes turn.

The waxing and waning moon, lunar-like mutability of the feminine essence, the error-rune, conquering resistance through confusion, eventual perfection, Female mysteries, roots of the World Column, the carrier of genetic material, God-woman, femininity, desire, sensual love, passion, perfection, Mother, chaos from which creation emerges, female principle in the Cosmos, the night, death and instinct, anger, falsehood, error and the oppositions found in humankind, mystical union, night, moon, well grounded, roots of Irminsul from which all life springs, woman as the opposite/balance to man, the descending Divine Feminine being.
“Think about the end” (List, 63).

Interpretation: cooperation (Ehwaz) leads to eventual perfection (Yr).

OMGs…I laughed so hard!  As previously noted, Stubby has taken ownership of the old green chair.  However, it has no butt cushion because I need it with the new-to-me chair now in my living room.  In an honest effort to make things a bit more comfortable for Stubby, I took a couple of old cloth tapestries, folded them in quarters, and placed them in the seat of the old green chair.  Subsequently, I noticed Stubby lying back on the concrete.  Well, okay, I thought, and removed the tapestries.  Sure enough, Stubby was quick to regain his place on the green chair.  Far be it from me to tell Stubby what’s more comfortable.

PM God/dess Meditation: Sunna, goddess of the Sun:
Greetings to you Sunna, in all your feminine, fertile glory; Lamp of Wotan, newly risen! Hail to you who is the counterpart to Mano, male aspect of the Moon.  You have shown on all our ancestors, you shine on us, and you will yet shine on our decedents yet unborn. Share with us some of your light, your energy, your power, so that we might better fight our battles and attain our goals. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL SUNNA, as we honor the Sunna that resides in us all!
