Outcome: For the first time, Essie spent a bit of time in the back yard unsupervised while I got ready for the doctor’s appointment.
First breakfast; cereal and whole wheat English muffin with jelly
Ophthalmologist said my eye was healing normally. I have an appointment in three weeks to get a new Rx for glasses with the VA. I was assured my optometrist with the VA was exceptionally good.
With a well healing eye (Uruz), the enemy of poor vision has been thwarted (Thorn).

2nd breakfast; McDs, ya know, cereal and an English muffin only goes so far. By 10:30AM, I was about to fall-out.
Rehearsal for the wedding went EXCEPTIONALLY well. This is going to be one for the record book; not necessarily for the amount in attendance, but for the available scenery!
Neighbor over with food offerings from the Food Bank; two home-grown tomatoes (didn’t last long), a Fuji apple (didn’t last long), and a bag of salad greens…LOVE IT!
Family outside time. As much as it about killed me to be stern with Stubby, it’s nicer for all concerned that he’s not around all the time.
Microwaved lunch: macaroni w/beef, two small ears of corn, a buttered whole wheat English muffin.
