The fourth one I know, when a foe has tied up
My arms and hands;
The fetters fall from my leg, when I chant that song,
And off my hands the ropes come.

Toby and I out for a fairly well behaved trip to Meeka Park plus 3/5 of a mile.
*found a discarded but decent wingback chair with footstool.
*yup, works well for my needs. After all, Essie will probably destroy it. It didn’t have a butt-cushion, but the cushion of the previous ugly green chair works fine.
<>
2nd breakfast; cold cereal with grapes and whole-wheat toast with strawberry spread.
<>
ROTFLMFnAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just sat the ugly green chair outside to get it out of the house so I could move the new one (well, new to ME) inside. STUBBY HAS CLAIMED THE GREEN CHAIR FOR HIS OWN! I won’t deny him HIS new chair. Tacky as it may be, I’ll move his chair onto the porch for his enjoyment.

It was a pretty good Handfasting @ Lake Afton. There were a few in attendance who made it tolerable as I only marginally excited about doing this one. It was only okay, but I feel my performance was exceptional for a couple with whom I had only met briefly. Afterwards, as I was loading my stuff back into the Vue, I was hit-on by a Wiccan woman with a cigarette in her hand. She asked me, “Are you married?” I responded jokingly, “Only twelve times.” She said, “I’m not worried about that. Are you married now?” “No…” I said, then deflected any further attempts by discussing the full moon. “Most pagan traditions see the moon as feminine.” She butted-in, “I’m a witch.” I asked, “Wiccan or witch?” “Wiccan” she said. “Then you understand the moon as feminine. In my Norse beliefs, we see the moon as masculine, calling him, Mani and the sun feminine, calling her Sunna.” Luckily, that was the end of that.

Frouwa, most lovely of all goddesses; who could not love you? Women as their own inner glory and highest attainment as the self-made woman, men for your beauty, passion and strength. Praise to you for the gift of life, and for the love that makes life worth living. Remind us always that it is the strong who love the best and the most, and that only the mighty can truly be gentle. Fill our lives with passion and lust that we may live our lives to the fullest. WE GIVE YOU MOST A HEART-FELT HEIL, FROUWA, as we honor the Frouwa that resides in us all!

Ing-Frô, you’re the Great God of Fridu (all-encompassing safety and protection), Ar (peace, good seasons), the good harvest and prosperity: you are indeed the god of this World. When the day to day wears us down remind us of pleasures and joys. Help us recall the wonderful excesses that brought our lives into being and which sustain the human spirit during good times and bad. Without you, there would be no life and certainly little delight. Thank you, Ing-Frô, for the rushing life spirit and the eternal play of passions that make our lives fruitful. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, ING-FRÔ, as we honor the Ing-Frô that resides in all of us!
