I think work went better. Hand-form and the bag press were out of work before 09:00. I tired to show some initiative by watching the hot-joggle machine, but evidently that wasn’t the thing to do, but all worked out for the best. I was taken to the flat-patter duplicator and ran a couple of orders. Then I had to re-work some parts I did in hand-forming because I wasn’t told about comparing flanges to make sure they were all done the same. FINALLY, I was given something with which I was familiar that worked on an ATT (applied tool template) and was able to show my lead-man why I knew I was working the right ATT with the right parts. The problem came when I accidently threw a part into the scrap bin which made the order short. I scoured the shop several times looking for that damned part. I KNOW I searched the scrap metal bin several times. Just before time to go home, IT SURFACED! As is said in the 13th Warrior, “Luck often enough will save a man, if his courage holds”. WHEW!

Toby and I out for a better controlled, better behaved because I made sure it was so, 30min walk.

My wife craved a burger a cut above the usual. TJ’s Burger House it is. She was happy with it, but was hoping for a toasted bun. We’ll know better next time. That was heluvalotta food.

From the look of the weather reports, it may be about time to cover the a/c units for the winter.

Last check on all fur-kids.
