I am declaring Oktober as German Heritage/History Month.
This is an unofficial rendering and celebration of German/Heritage History/Month. It is by no means an exhaustive list. It DOES, however, represent a shortlist of famous Germans citizens as well as German/American citizens and their accomplishments. The effort, whether or not we were successful, was to steer clear of glorifying Nazis as they have their own well-documented place in history. More times than not, exact dates do not match-up their placement in this celebration. I hope you enjoy this celebration as much as I did in gathering all this information.
