I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the heritage you provided.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

AM Elder Rune: Thurisaz (Inv): Thorn, Outside the favor of Donar, the strong One, weakness, beware of enemies from the outside, defenselessness, disruptive opposition, lack of fertility, shadow of the unconscious, disease, explosive violence, introversion, cowardice, destruction, a loss of masculinity, fight or flight: choosing flight.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

AM Armanen Rune:  Gibor:
Havamal 163.
An eighteenth I learned, yet I would never
Let a woman or maid know it,
For everyone knows what’s best for himself-
This leads me to the conclusion of the songs-
The one it shall be then, that lies in my arms
As betrothed wife and as sister.

The scald, awakening, comprehension of the diving from below upward; from humanity outward, ecrecy, gift/giver, gift of life, that which is best for the individual, fulfillment, sacred marriage, being ONE with the sister soul, protection against evil forces, being/seeing the Divine, the cosmic consciousness and the divine principle, two forces having a singular origin, the spiritual ego, death-life cycle, protection against evil forces, union of the gods and the World, the uninterrupted chain in the cycle of eternal returns, the Creator and the Created, the deepest mysteries of the Universe.
“Man, be one with God” (List, 67)

Interpretation:  Weakness (Thurisaz) that leads to an awakening (Gibor).

Outcome: Donar rumbles!

Socks bolted into the house.  I’m not sure why.  He certainly wouldn’t do it because of a bit of thunder.  I let him explore a bit, but soon enough scooped him up to take him to his cat house.

Good AM work; finished my project in hard metals, then back into the burr-shop hole.
Mixed lunch; partly at work for pizza, then to home for Toby, then back to work for more pizza.  A colleague made an interesting point, “Fuck this pizza business.  Give us raises”.  I concur.
Good PM work; many good wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.

73F on the car thermometer on the way home…nice!

Toby and I out for a 1-mile walk.  Essie out for equal time.  All fur-kids outside.  I’m so proud of Socks taking back control of his porch.
*finished my lunch, for dinner

LOTS of online time.

It seems Weebly has made some major changes that enable access my two websites.  It also seems I wasn’t the only one having copy/paste issues.

OOOooooo…new season, Sleepy Hollow http://www.fox.com/sleepy-hollow

To bed @ regular time.

PM God/dess Meditation:  Donar:
Donar, Son of Wotan and Erda, husband to Sibba, wielder of Malant and Great God of thunder, thunder forth in our lives. When we would hold back, encourage us to advance. When we would be weak, hearten us be strong. When we would shun life’s pleasures, inspire our appetites for that which is lusty and good. Excite our growth from strength to strength; teach us, elder brother, how to throw our own Hammer, and slay the giants who oppose our will. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, DONAR, as we honor the Donar that resides in us all!
