Toby TOTALLY misbehaved early on our walk.  After calling him back several times from his approaching a familiar child, he absolutely ignored me.  The child was comfortable enough, but the adult wasn’t.  First, I let toby know my displeasure.  Second, he spent almost the entire walk on the retractable, and I didn’t make it pleasant for him.
*cool (layered T-shirt wouldn’t been nice), sunny, stout north breeze.

Smart boy, Socks.  He was ready to go into his warm house and get out from the breezy coolness.

Pizza hut for lunch, homemade garden salad for lunch.

OMGs, once home from PH, there was a squirrel hanging out @ the feeding station on the tree.  I approached, and the squirrel didn’t move; at least not until I reached out to get an apple piece.  Once I had a piece in my hand, the squirrel came back out from behind the tree and back up to the feeding station.  I held out the piece of apple, the squirrel was interested.  I approached, the squirrel grabbed the piece and scurried back up the tree.  I needed that interaction to day.

Not a horrible shift at work.  Two things worth noting concerning my Supervisor:

1. He and our current lead man were talking and I was motioned over.  My super said, “Be honest.  In your opinion, who is the most advanced in this shop?”  I responded, “I am, but B_ is a close 2nd.”  My Super said, “That’s what I thought, and that’s exactly what I told T_.”  Thinking, OMGs, what have I done?  Am I going to be tapped for lead man?  I would have mixed emotions if that happened.
2. After dinner break, the Super was walking around with a pint of ice cream.  I asked him, “Do you have enough for everybody?”  He said he DID have another and was willing to share with someone bold enough to ask.  I, in turn, shared with a shop colleague.

God/dess Meditation: Heil to you, Forsizo, son of Paltar and Nanda!  We call out to you in our time of legal need.  You’re the god of justice and reconciliation.  We know that justice is a double-edged ax.  On the one side, if our argument is just, grant us the proper conclusion.  On the other side, if our argument is fraudulent, mete-out justice accordingly.  Whether in the court of legal proceedings or the court of public opinion, grant us the justice according to the rightness of our deeds.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, FORSIZO, as we honor the Forsizo that resides in us all!
