Call into Auto Smart http://www.autosmartkansas.com/ about my battery dilemma last Saturday, as I had over $1,400 worth of work done specifically on winterizing the Vue. Turns out they might’ve inadvertently missed checking my battery in an effort to get the work done on time. A battery from THEM would’ve been right at $100 less. They vehemently apologized and offered me a free oil change, which I will probably accept. The head-hauncho said they were having a meeting soon and will mention this faux-pas. He also said they’ll be open Saturdays in the near future.
