What an ABSOLUTELY wonderful time at my niece’s. There was WONDERFUL food, WONDERFUL conversation coupled with WONDERFUL laughter. A couple who are old friends of theirs has moved back from Australia. I learned some typical Aussie things from them:
*fair-dink-em; a general term interchangeably applied to both good and bad situations.
*dag; poop dangling from a sheep’s but.
*Vegemite https://www.vegemite.com.au/ IMO, a pretty tasty spread used with toast and butter; however, not appreciated by my niece.

*or-a’nga; a red-head, a slam, as it compares a red-head to an orangutan.
My cream-cheese corn was completely devoured!
