A nice 7 ½ hours of sleep, but for THAT kind of pain I hadn’t encountered for a very long time.  Further comment for posterity*.

Toby finally did it.  He tried digging up Stubby’s body.  If I hadn’t laid down the board on top of Stubby’s body, Toby would be feasting.  I tried to coax Toby back to the Cat Cemetery, but he cowered.  He knows damned good and well what he did.  He knows damned good and well not to do it.
*I took Toby back to the Cat Cemetery.  I don’t have to touch him.  He was shivering as I was verbally scolding him.  Hopefully that will do it.
