Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Elder Rune: Naudiz: The Rune of Need (whether mortal, emotional, spiritual), a Wurtâ Rune, force friction, a stress indicator, opportunity for change, urgency, a generating force for the greater good, friction, transformation, resistance leading to strength, perseverance to endure, eventual peace within the Self, accept the unchangeable, an evolutionary change toward a more holistic state, Fate.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

Armanen Rune: Tyr:
Havamal 156.
A twelfth one I sing, when I see through the brush
The hanged one swinging from the hemp;
He climbs down from the trunk, must tell me his tale
When I carve the Runes right.

<>

Toby and I out for a warm and windy 30min, late morning walk.

I did a bit of an online research about the dates of the major world religions:
*Hinduism, “Most scholarly work based on studies done in last century estimates Hinduism to have originated around 4500 BC to 5000 BC. Recent studies and archaeological evidence points to a much earlier period. According to these studies, Sanskrit & the Vedas originated around 11,000 years BP (before present) or 9000 BC.
*Judaism, “The history of Judaism spans more than 3,000 years. Judaism has its roots as a structured religion in the Middle East during the Bronze Age. Judaism is considered one of the oldest monotheistic religions.
*Egyptian religion: indigenous beliefs of ancient Egypt from predynastic times (4th millennium bce)
** The 4th millennium BC spans the years 4000 through 3000 BC.
*Judaism: The history of Judaism spans more than 3,000 years. Judaism has its roots as a structured religion in the Middle East during the Bronze Age. Judaism is considered one of the oldest monotheistic religions.
Islam: “Muhammad began preaching Islam around 610 AD. This puts Islam at around 1400 years old, making it one of the world's younger religions. Islam is a monotheistic religious tradition that developed in the Middle East in the 7th century C.E.
Last but certainly not least, Heathenry: Heathenry, also termed Heathenism or Germanic Neopaganism, is a modern Pagan religion. Classified as a new religious movement, its practitioners model their faith on the pre-Christian belief systems adhered to by the Germanic peoples of Iron Age and Early Medieval Europe
**Iron age: The Near Eastern Iron Age is divided into two subsections, Iron I and Iron II. Iron I (1200–1000 BC) illustrates both continuity and discontinuity with the previous Late Bronze Age.

God/dess Meditation: Die (pronounced “Dee”) Wurtâ:
Die Wurtâ, all three, are present at birth
To weave our Fate from merriment to dearth.
Urda, Werdanda and Sculd, the dark queens renowned;
Glorious ladies ‘neath the Tree, work your mysteries in us now.

That which “was” we can clearly see.
That which “is becoming” forms now in our deeds.
That which “is owed”, may be, but we cannot see.
We celebrate die Wurtâ, the Ladies Three, for all eternity.
