*I saw the preacher from the neighborhood church walking down the sidewalk with his wife. He told me of a neighborhood get-to-know-you gathering he was invited to attend. Once home, I found the recipe book my sister gave me from Mother’s collection that she had from his church and took it to him. I instructed him just to hang onto it until he catches me another time.

*I was approached by someone with a “bible” comment. My response, “I’m not a christian. I don’t care.” After I pumped my petrol, I approached him. He said something about inviting me to a bible study so I can know the truth about it. The truth? Oh, wrong thing to say to me. He got an ear-full about how I find the truth as relative, and how every religious expression has their version of the truth. Suddenly, the young man who approached me, became amazingly compliant.
