Why can't time be left alone so time can be what time wants to be; or rather, the human concept of it? Okay, I understand we've gone from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time. We need to come off this messing-with-time shit. The clock says 05:30, but my body clock still says 06:30. I truly hate the time-change thing. Sure, it's easier going from fall-back rather than spring-forward. Hel, in a sense, I got an extra hour of sleep, or rather, was able to stay up an extra hour to get things done. Come spring-forward, it's gonna suck.

Started planning Yule decorations for the house. Understand, electrical outlets are a problem in older houses like mine. It's exacerbated by what outlets are available that simply don't work, and I don't have the money to hire an electrician to come fix it. So, I had to become ingenious to find ways around the problem. Problem solved. Last year, because of outlet problems, I didn't put up any lights at all around the porch. I won't get on a ladder anymore to put up lights around the trim. If I cant put up lights with my feet fixed firmly on Terra-firma, it's not gonna happen. I was able to put up some old lights around the porch-rail, affix my "Good Yule" sign and the Yule wreath. Much more to be set later.
Separated recyclables and tweaked the process a bit.
Overdue calls into family and friends.
