@ home for lunch to check on Essie. I found her in the bath tub. I’m thinking she may have a fever and was using the tub as a means to cool off. I reached down to pet her, she perked up, meowed as if to say, Daddy, I hurt”. “I know, baby. I’m taking you to the doctor once I get home”.
Good PM work; from large rings to titanium plates to small rings, ready to do large rings again in the morning. I don’t mind this shuffling at all!

Quick shower, quick change, off to the veterinary. Essie did indeed have a fever. Dr. gave her an antibiotic shot plus antibiotic medicine twice a day for a week. She also got her microchip, which was the reason for the appointment in the first place. Toby got his shot for the year.

I really must start wearing my ankle brace. My right inside ankle has been so painful for several days I just can’t ignore it any longer.

Call into 24-Pet-watch. Toby and Socks’ info are in my name.
*IT’S A BANNER DAY! Essie, Toby and Socks now hold info on their microchip noting me as their guardian. Tis a banner day indeed!
