1st breakfast; organic rice cereal (don’t worry, it was just a good deal at the store, $1.99), whole-wheat toast with strawberry jelly.

It’s a beautifully rain-cooled morning. Toby out for an 8AM, exceptionally well-behaved, one mile walk. He was so well-behaved, he handled a major distraction perfectly! I let him go check it out, then he responded quickly to a voice command.

2nd breakfast; a waffle, topped with banana slices, two perfectly nuked eggs and turkey bacon.

To Wal-Mart to pick up a grave decoration for GG-Grandmother Agatha.
It was a really nice drive to Medford, Ok. One the way out there were two deer that bounced across the highway in front of me. The old Medford Mennonite Church area has a marker on the steps indicating the dates of the church prior to its burning. No fence around the old church property now; however, there is a really nice, new, fence around the cemetery area. I felt truly privileged to be able to honor Agatha. On the way back to the car, I noticed a piece of the grave decoration had become disconnected. I took it back to the grave in an effort to reconnect it. It was as if Agatha stood over me saying, “Keep it, as keeping a part of me with you”. I was overwhelmed with emotion. This purple artificial flower now adorns my dashboard.
*A drive in the country is very settling. With the recent rains, the wheat fields are almost ready to harvest. The corn fields are healthy and growing. If Mother Nature cooperates, this should be another bumper crop harvest.
