1-egg breakfast sandwich on wheat toast, Canadian bacon and cheese + a banana.

Toby and I out for a perfektly behaved, late morning, 30min walk.

On the walk, someone told me of a cat with kittens that have been put out and abandoned in the apartments on McCormick. Further, I was told they were all hunkered down inside a bush. Sure enough, I saw momma kitty.

Wifey to Family Dollar.

Wifey was more than glad to help corral the kitties. I grabbed my large kennel and off we went. Wifey was able to nab the four kittens. Momma has been more of a challenge. With the kittens in the kennel, the situation was improved but not over by any means.

Never before have I taken a 1lb chub of ground turkey and sliced it into 6 pieces in an effort to control portions.
*small turkey patty, fist sized bake potato, peas and carrots from frozen. Surprisingly enough, my appetite is quite satisfied.

Wifey back on kitty duty in an effort to nab momma.
<>
Wifey unsuccessful at corralling momma kitty. Now the concern turns towards the kittens in the kennel and an upcoming storm. She may be temporarily bringing them home.

In spite of everything, not a horrible night at work. Fingers crossed that my 1st shift colleague comes back from vacation tomorrow.

Wifey was able to bring kittens home and set them up in the kennel in her office. It seems she may end up fostering them.

Well hela, the tree guy was here while I was at work to work more on removing the tree in the back yard. Damn if there weren’t some pieces I could’ve used or let other people use.
