*bonus check was less than expected. Normally, it’s pretty much the equivalent of a paycheck. This bonus check was $100 shy of a bonus check…shit. I suppose I should consider myself lucky (Pertho) that I even get a bonus check thru this partnership (Eh) of employment. Actually, I’d rather get quarterly raises rather than quarterly bonuses.

After a 10hour shift @ work, the last thing I wanted to do was mow the yard, but had to do it as it’s going to rain again soon.
*Essie on tether while mowing. She wasn’t happy.

WOW! I was snuggling with Essie on the bed when Toby came in. Essie let him know she was less than happy he disturbed her time with me. As it was Essie who initiated the attack, I called her down and she responded. However, she came at him for a second attack. I again called her down, at the same time, Toby let Essie know HIS displeasure. Toby’s response didn’t come off as malicious; rather, more like “STOP IT!” It was enough to convince Essie to quit.
