When I left Socks last night, he insisted on being outside. Not long after he went outside, Toby, from his doghouse (yay!) let me know it was raining pretty hard. I called and called for Socks to no avail. It’s going to be a long night for him.

Call in from my long-distant niece. She and her live-in are looking to move back to Kansas from Texas. I’m not REALLY sticking out MY neck, but I am trusting her that she’s telling me the truth. I’ll give anybody a chance, especially family.
