I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the heritage I inherited.

Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price

AM Armanen Rune: Ar:
Havamal 153.
A ninth one I sing, when dangers at sea forces me
To protect my ship from the stormy waves;
The storm I calm down, no matter how billowing the sea,
And I cradle the waves to sleep.

Confidence, Ing-Frô, still, comfort, the Sun, the path to the Light, will, leadership, all that which is beautiful and Sun-like, change to good, virtues, honor, glory, rewarding work, completion, light, Divine spirit, power contained in light that washes away darkness, wisdom, beauty, virtue, trust, honor, fame, Rune of the initiate, Symbolism of the Lord of the Light-elves that returns home from darkness, Rune of peace and good seasons.

Interpretation: Movement (Raido) toward confidence (Ar).

Outcome: Everyone outside for an early AM family time.
*Toby and I out for a 1-mile walk.

I think Toby has consumed four bird were dislodged form yesterday’s storm.  If they were alive, Toby always makes for a quick kill.  If they were already dead, Toby quickly consumes them, too.  Yeah, I’m bad for letting him do this, but he’s usually on them before I notice it.

Both of a neighbor’s dogs were out running loose because they knocked out a section of a section of a privacy fence.  I had to go home, pick up a hammer, corral both of them, then nail the fence shut once again to insure their safety.  Soon enough their owner came home.  I explained what happened.

Women’s international friendly http://www.ussoccer.com/matches/wnt/2015/150517-wnt-v-mex
USA v Mexico
Out of 32 matches with Mexico, the US Women have won 31.  My hope is this trend continues.  I’ll check the score in the morning.

PM God/dess Meditation:   Saga, goddess of history; part and parcel of our ever expanding past.  As we share in Minnatranc, whisper to our hearts of the stories about our gods, our ancestors, our heroes and their glories.  Be the resource for our memories should we ever forget from whence we come.  Gently remind us that we all have a rich history from which to pull.  For it is as we remember and respect the past can we deal with our present, knowing that we will some day have to deal with our spiritual debt.  We honor you, Saga, as a repository for the basis of all that we are, all that we are coming to be, and all that our offspring will inherit from us.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, SAGA, as we honor the Saga that resides in us all.

PM Clarification Rune: none
