I have been remiss in celebrating my 23rd year in Heathenry. I walked out of 39 yrs in Christian Church and right into Wicca. I was in Wicca for 5 yrs with Norse leanings, unsatisfied. It was a spring Great Plains Ren Fest where I noticed someone wearing a tunic LOADED with Norse stuff. I POINTED! TELL ME ABOUT THAT! Long story short I did my 1 ½ yrs in New Gladhome Church of Asatru which eventually folded due to infighting, but I never gave up on it. I went from Icelandic Heathenry to the German expression of Norse lore known as Irminenschaft and have NEVER looked back! Now, Heathen for 23 yrs.
