I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me. I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side. I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.
• no doubt the ones who brought the family over from Russia. Offered up some extra incense to honor that.

Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Life is lived at such a price

Armanen Rune: Man:
Havamal 160:
A fourteenth I know, Volkrast, the dwarf,

Sings early at the gates of dawn,
To strengthen the Aesir, to empower the Alves,
But to myself, All-Father, to gain wisdom.

Strength, that which is rising, magical empowerment, acquisition of Divine wisdom, morning song, propagation of the human race, encompasses both the exoteric and the esoteric concepts of humanity, great gain, male mysteries/leadership, manly actions, pulling down the spiritual into material form, human/humanity, increase, masculinity, health, plenty, magic, spirit, truth, God-Man, male principle in Cosmos, birth, health, increase, maleness and man, Divine man, male principle in Cosmos, magic power, thaumaturgy, true self, the resurrected god, the upper part of the world tree, Irminsul, Rune of spiritual powers, of directing Manna powers; the sacred Rune of humankind encouraging us to be human.
“Be a man” (List, 61).

Rune Lesson: We go from victory to victory. We go from success to success. We go from strength to strength. Whatever the case, we acquire Divine knowledge, not by osmosis; rather by hard work and dedication. Yet, we are careful. Everything comes with a price.

It was obvious as I was getting ready to take Toby out for his walk. Toby DID NOT have the energy in his tank today for any lengthy walk. It was all he could do to muster anything enough for two blocks. His veterinary has said previously, with his health issues he is going to have good days and bad days. THIS was one of his bad days, as far as his walk is concerned.
*talked to an extended neighbor. The Mr. has three REALLY cool classic cars he has restored; two sedans and a pickup truck. The Mrs. gave me tulip bulbs. I asked her if they would be okay planted in mulch. She said she didn’t know but I should try it and see, so I did just that. Soaked the mulch.
*cloudy, mild, southwesterly breeze

God/dess Meditation: Sunday, Sunna’s Day, Sunna, goddess of the Sun:
Greetings to you Sunna, in all your feminine, fertile glory; Lamp of Wodan, newly risen! Hail to you who is the counterpart to Mano, male aspect of the Moon. You have shown on all our ancestors, you shine on us, and you will yet shine on our decedents yet unborn. Share with us some of your light, your energy, your power, so that we might better fight our battles and attain our goals. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL SUNNA, as we honor the Sunna that resides in us all!
