Took wifey and mice out to Oak Park to give the mice their freedom! They all quickly scurried off. One mouse was so funny. He/she was the last one to leave its enclosure, but when he/she did it took off its own way totally separate from the others. It took off right into a stone wall, desperately trying to find a safe place in the wall. I stayed behind him/her, encouraging him/her to keep moving until he/she made it to the end of the wall and into a safe brush area. We shall start it all over again come the fall. It’s a thing now; to live catch mice, keep them through the winter, then release them after the thaw.
