I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today
<>
Elder Rune: Eihwaz: Irminsul, the Cosmic pillar, inner strength, stress and difficulties, overcoming obstacles, need to have backbone to get through, endurance, “Shit happens, get over it! “, temporary cosmic consciousness, stability over external circumstances, resilience, the Shamanic link of experiences within the All.  “That which does not kill us makes us stronger” (Friedrich Nietzsche).

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today
<>
Armanen Rune: Not:
Havamal 153:
An eighth is mine, to all the Folk
Useful to know in their suffering;
Where hatred rises-up between man and man,
This I can settle fast.

Distress, suffering, compulsion of fate, separation, confrontation, strife settled, understanding suffering, settled calm, mind over matter, necessity of fate, misery and death, change of luck as necessity, decision of the Wurtâ, Wurt/Urlag paid-for, cause-effect relations, capability to restructure Wurt/Urlag, That which cannot be averted, the Ur-law that is active in every creature, stress, karmic debt, karmic need, but with outlook for change of karma, banishing ill fortune by means of accepting karma and karmic law, Skuld, Divine justice that balances.
“Use your fate, do not strive against it” (List, 55).

Rune Lesson: How does one deal with stress?  How does one deal with suffering?  It takes nothing short of a strong backbone.  It is thru inner strength that we settle any strife.  Anything LESS than a strong backbone brings all strife magnified.  Both Eihwaz and Not are about suffering.  Both Eihwaz and Not have their own inner workings to deal with it.

1st check on all fur-kids: food, water, litterboxes, shelter.
<>
Outcome: 7hrs of sleep, one wakeup, LOTS of Lily loving.
<>
Multigrain toast topped with cheese, three slices of turkey bacon, one scrambled egg.
<>
Created a Frouwa collage for Walpurgisnacht:

Toby out for a surprisingly well behaved, 30min, 2 block, trust training walk.
I went out for my own 30min walk.
*sunny, mild, south breeze.

Took the recyclables from inside collection to outside separation.  Recyclables are getting full since I haven’t been able to take them into the recycling center.  At this point, I don’t mind putting paper in the trash as it will easily biodegrade.  Cans may be the next, but I really don’t like the idea of putting plastics in the trash.
<>
Note to Self; Toby’s 12:30pm feeding and insulin.
<>
Leftover Hamburger Helper, a hamburger patty topped with cheese, and mixed veggies from frozen + a small bowl of ice cream
<>
Well hela, it looks like I DID get that extra $600 from the Cares Act https://www.investopedia.com/coronavirus-aid-relief-and-economic-security-cares-act-4800707 with my unemployment.
<>
OMGs!  I watched a squirrel handle a fairly good-sized piece of watermelon rind and eat it while perched in a low-level tree.  WOW!
<>
Work is back to the same old boredom.
<>
Bank ATM
<>
Note to Self: Toby’s 1:15am feeding and insulin.
<>
Last check on all fur-kids.
<>
A load of laundry
<>
2:15am nighty night

God/dess Meditation: (alternate Donarstag) Die [(German for feminine “the”) (pronounced “Dee”)] Wurtâ:
Die Wurtâ, all three, are present at birth
To weave our Fate from merriment to dearth.
Urda, Werdanda and Sculd, the dark queens renowned;
Glorious ladies ‘neath the Tree, work your mysteries in us now.

That which “was” we can clearly see.
That which “is becoming” forms now in our deeds.
That which “is owed”, may be, but we cannot see.
We celebrate die Wurtâ, the Ladies Three, for all eternity.
