Rune Lesson: Movement continues to be afoot.  If there is any movement, it’s a dedication to family.  Of family, Hjuka Coulter’s book on Germanic Heathenry and Practical Guide says this:
In a ‘broader’ scope (that is, beyond that of the house/household) family also includes: a group or persons sharing common ancestry or those who descend from one common progenitor; a tribe or race; kindred. Family also indicates and embodies one’s course of descent or genealogy that is, one’s ‘family tree’ and lineage (pg.7).

Further, he says,
Our sippa is the entirety of our family lines, from our youngest living kinsfolk to our eldest ancestors. It encompasses both living and dead, and is the very embodiment of our immediate beings and collective deeds as kin, and the ultimate source of true strength and peace -and the wholeness and totality of our line's Urlag… (pg.10).
THERE is my movement.  THERE is my dedication!

God/dess Meditation: (alternate Manostag) Nirdu, brother-husband, to Nirda, parents of the Wanâ; Ing-Frô and the Frouwa, beloved god of harbors and seas close to land; help us to remember the cargoes of wealth that float to our doors daily from the wonderful Universe in which we live. Though our misfortunes may rise and fall like the tides, the chance of prosperity, like the eternal sea brimming with fish, is still there. Like the salt-sea spray, awaken us to the possibilities that surround us, so that our nets may be cast wide and return full of life’s gifts. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, NIRDU, as we honor the Nirdu that resides in us all!

Nirda, sister-wife to Nirdu.  We give thanks to the Great Goddess Nirda, Goddess of the land, of soil, and growing things.  Goddess, too, of the scythe and of the sacrifice.  Beautiful and terrible.  Wise in Your power.  We praise you…HEIL NIRDA, Mother of the Wanâ, sister-wife to Nirdu.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, NIRDA, as we honor the Nirda that resides in us all!  HEIL NIRDA Divine Queen! HEIL!  HEIL! HEIL!
