(Lenzomônd = Lent month)

GOOD SLEEP!

Plans: work 10hrs

Picture
AM Meditation: Donarstac/Thursday, we meditate on Donar:
Donar, Son of Wotan and Erda, husband to Sibba, wielder of Malant and Great God of thunder, thunder forth in our lives. When we would hold back, encourage us to advance. When we would be weak, hearten us be strong. When we would shun life’s pleasures, inspire our appetites for that which is lusty and good. Excite our growth from strength to strength; teach us, elder brother, how to throw our own Hammer, and slay the giants who oppose our will. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, DONAR, as we honor the Donar that resides in us all!

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Picture
AM Elder Rune: Uruz (R): A weakened position, deprivation, depletion of energy, out of sync, an impulse towards inaction, a severe lack of foundation and energy at low levels, reduction, elasticity, uncontrolled rage, without the will to survive, taking no risks at this time, weakness, illness, the inability to overcome obstacles.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

AM Armanen Rune: Bar:
Havamal 157.
A thirteenth I mention, when I sprinkle the son,
The young one, with holy water,
If once he faces the foe, then he cannot fall,
No sword can wound him so he collapses in the dust.

Inspiration, security, life, birth: birth of the future life that is preordained for us, becoming, being projected, help in birth, son, bread, song, fountain, mountains, meaning of life on this planet/in this world, the power of becoming, reconstruction, Rune of continuous transformation, death and rebirth metamorphosis, return to the Mothers; the fountain as female symbol, the eternal spring of humans.

Interpretation: weakness (Uruz) leading to reconstruction (Bar).

Outcome: I think I’ll leave Toby inside this morning to give the day a chance to warm a bit.
*all fur kids under shelter.

Good AM work, workload remains overflowing, just like my thought patterns.
Good @ home for lunch.  I called Dillons to reserve a box.
Good PM work, but I think, for some reason, there’s a concentrated effort to work down small parts to deny Saturday.  We have plenty of small part work, and there are large parts to work.  Why else do they continue to work small parts?
*Somehow my brief involvement in Wicca came un in a course of conversation.  Lead askS, “WICCA?  ISN’T THAT DEVIL WORSHIP?”  I laughed and sad, “No…” at the same tiem Christian woman behind me says, “Yes”.  Sheisse!   When the Lead was off to herself, I asked her, “Have you ever read a book on Wicca?”  She responded to the negative.  “So, your opinion of Wicca has been formed because of what you’ve been told.”  She responded to the affirmative, and indicated that was the way it would stay.  “That tells me a lot.”

Stopped off at Dillons to collect an apple box
To PetSmart for a crate.

Leftover taco spiced meat in tortillas for dinner.

Once home, I started trying to figure out how Essie’s new crate can work in the car.  It took a bit of wiggling, but I finally managed.  Essie’s first ride in the car was…noisy.  I took back roads through the neighborhood slowly so as not to encourage fright.  A couple of times she settled down.  I think she was glad to be home.

WSU looses to Notre Dame 70-81, out of the NCAA tournament.

PM Meditation: Die Wurtâ:
Die Wurtâ, all three, are present at birth
To weave our Fate from merriment to dearth.
Urda, Werdanda and Sculd, the dark queens renowned;
Glorious ladies ‘neath the Tree, work your mysteries in us now.

That which “was” we can clearly see.
That which “is becoming” will form now in our deeds.
That which “is owed”, will be, but we cannot yet see.
We celebrate die Wurtâ, the Ladies Three, for all eternity.

PM Clarification Rune: none
