That was so funny! I remembered I haven’t placed any squirrel offerings at the south feeding station, so I cut up an old apple and took it out. There was a squirrel waiting. I held out the offering, but it scampered behind the tree. It skittishly peeked out from behind the tree just as I put the offering in the tree. It certainly didn’t take long for this squirrel to begin feasting.
