Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Elder Rune: Jera: Harvest, 12th Rune of the Futhark, the number 12, cycles, a turning point, cause and effect, the Rune of return, two halves of a cyclic whole, harmony-in-movement-in-balance, improvement, expansion, growth, progress, patience, fruition of plans, the mystic union between Earth and the Cosmos, the result of a previous action, appropriate reward for the right (or wrong) action.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

Armanen Rune: Ar:
Havamal 153.
A ninth one I sing, when dangers at sea forces me

To protect my ship from the stormy waves;
The storm I calm down, no matter how billowing the sea,
And I cradle the waves to sleep.

Dangers calmed, protection, challenges eased, comfort/stillness, primal fire, nobles, destruction of physical darkness reborn into spiritual light, confidence, Ing-Frô, the Sun, the path to the Light, will, leadership, all that which is beautiful and Sun-like, change to good, virtues, honor, glory, rewarding work, completion, light, Divine spirit, power contained in light that washes away darkness, wisdom, beauty, virtue, trust, honor, fame, Rune of the initiate, Symbolism of the Lord of the Light-elves that returns home from darkness, Rune of peace and good seasons.
“Respect the primal fire” (List, 56).

I’ve learned something new about my Waterpik.  When all else fails, read the directions.  It comes with an electric toothbrush.  I’ve noticed it has an electrical dead-spot when brushing.  That dead-spot is actually part of a timer, that times brushing in the four quadrants of the mouth, then turns itself off after 2-minutes.  Rather than quadrants, I spend:
30-sec upper outer
30-sec upper inner
30-sec lower outer
30-sec lower inner
*amazing

Call in from contractor.  He agreed to work within my cash-on-hand and reconfigure.

Toby and I out for a late-morning/noon-hour, well behaved, 30min walk.  Sad; they’re tearing down the granny-style home one block west, on the corner.  I don’t think anyone has lived in it since I’ve been in this home.  Neither has there ever been a “For Rent” nor a “For Sale” sign.
*mild, sunny, hela stout west wind

Leftover homemade bean soup, and whole-wheat bread with butter

Dillons petrol
*Call in from brother, who is taking me up on my offer to fill his gas-tank as my “thank-you” for his letting Toby in from the cold.

At work: JsFnChst!  Two orders, nine pieces of material, took most of the night, just because there was so much to do on both.  Luckily, just as I was about to finish, the parts that gives me 127 min on one simple cut and 13 parts, showed up.  THEN my bread-n-butter parts, 460 min, one simple cut, 13 parts, showed up, too.  SO, I turned in 10hrs + on a night that was destined to be shitty.

Last check on all fur-kids.  Nice welcome home, Socks…thanks.

God/dess Meditation: Mano, god of the moon:
Greetings to you, Mano, glorious male aspect of the moon; silver messenger on high.  You’re the measurer and teller of time.  You’re the counterpart to Sunna, the feminine aspect of the sun.  As you fly silently on your way reflect into our souls the glory of the High Ones that we might aspire to the realms of the gods. Bathe our world in soft brightness, and whisper to our souls of joyous realms beyond our knowing. Mano, let us see the goodness within us and without us, all the nights and days of our lives.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, MANO, as we honor the Mano that resides in us all!
