Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way

Elder Rune: Isa: Ice: dormancy: a calming, self-preservation, self-centeredness resulting in a lack of change, reflective influence, stilling effect: self-control: the concentrated self: ego, das Ich (the unified, whole, principle or force), the composite plurality of Ich, be still and gain control of the Self (in all its forms): grounding, a lowering of vibration levels, patience, frigidity, and the loss of momentum.

Havamal 162:
A seventeenth I know, through a wise law

To join two lives in love;
And everyone is willing, no virginal woman
Will leave me lightly after this.

Rune Lesson: Calm is a very good thing in any relationship.  Self-preservation is of utmost importance in a marriage.  It’s important not to lose the Self.  It’s important not to be absorbed by the other.  At the same time, it’s also important to be able to change as the relationship/marriage changes. To be so self-centered and unwilling to change can create havoc in marriage.  Be still, and know your marriage is in a good place.

Okay, this isn’t the first time I’ve cooked the Kroger Homestyle Meatloaf https://www.kroger.com/p/kroger-homestyle-ready-to-cook-in-tray-meatloaf/0001111003487  but it’s going to be the LAST TIME it’s not cooked throughout.  I called the 800 number on the back.  They told me it had to be thawed, and I told them it says nothing about thawing it before using.  They said they’re aware of the problem and are working on it…yeah right.

OMGs!  There was a MAJOR blow-up between Lily and Jasmine.  When the fur kids fight, I hate this part of being a fur dad.

Last check on all fur-kids.

God/dess Meditation: (alternate Manostag) Nirdu, brother-husband, to Nirda, parents of the Wanâ; Ing-Frô and the Frouwa, beloved god of harbors and seas close to land; help us to remember the cargoes of wealth that float to our doors daily from the wonderful Universe in which we live. Though our misfortunes may rise and fall like the tides, the chance of prosperity, like the eternal sea brimming with fish, is still there. Like the salt-sea spray, awaken us to the possibilities that surround us, so that our nets may be cast wide and return full of life’s gifts. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, NIRDU, as we honor the Nirdu that resides in us all!

Nirda, sister-wife to Nirdu.  We give thanks to the Great Goddess Nirda, Goddess of the land, of soil, and growing things.  Goddess, too, of the scythe and of the sacrifice.  Beautiful and terrible.  Wise in Your power.  We praise you…HEIL NIRDA, Mother of the Wanâ, sister-wife to Nirdu.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, NIRDA, as we honor the Nirda that resides in us all!  HEIL NIRDA Divine Queen! HEIL!  HEIL! HEIL!
