It was proving day at work. Initially I could not understand WHY I wasn’t getting it even with MY OWN written instructions. However, I noticed too many scribbles, cross-outs and corrections. I pulled the lead man over and asked him to go over with me, STEP BY STEP, the process. Once I had better, clearer instructions, by the end of the day, I ran two orders with little supervision. It’s not as scary as it once was.
