I went to work kind of in a bad mood because I didn’t get to hear Sorcha’s voice today; she felt it, too. Anyway, I get to work and was immediately forewarned that management was out to get me. Concerned, I go into the shop and was immediately motioned over. Concern went out the window when I found out what management wanted to discuss. It was about an order of parts that needed examination because of HOW it was communicated via a drawing. I had already formulated my argument with MY Super so I was ready to resume the discussion. I was able to point out how confusing the drawing was for these parts, the stretch form block and the drawing were not in sync. When management realized the faux pas, and that I was right, they backed-off quickly. Understand, this was the same Super who tried to screw my over onto 3rd shift with my in-line promotion and I called him on the carpet for it. SO, I’ve been able to successfully confront the same manager TWICE…hehe…
