I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today
<>
Elder Rune: Gebo: The mystical union of gift and giver, repay gift for gift, generosity, a fair exchange between people or gods and the Luck that accompanies it; freely exchanged, obligations, contracts, relationships, sometimes sexual, sacrifice, and hospitality, do not take more than we are willing to give, the voluntary sacrifice of resources.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today
<>
Armanen Rune: Os:
Havamal 149:
The fourth one I know, when a foe has tied up

My arms and hands;
The fetters fall from my leg, when I chant that song,
And off my hands the ropes come.

Freedom from bondage, the power of speech/song, mouth, arising, ashes, that which is offered, Wodanic energies, leadership, mouth, speech, the effort to convince, deed following the word, the Divine Breath, kingship, discussion, idea of that which is given/evolving, the spiritual power that is gained through speech, it is the breath of the world, its voice, strength that a person needs to rise-up in power, freedom from the bondage of the material world.
“Your spiritual force makes you free” (List, 51).

Rune Lesson: the Havamal strophe 42 says,
“Be your friend’s
true friend.
Return gift for gift.
Repay laughter
with laughter again
but betrayal with treachery.”
So, it’s right to exchange gifts with those you enjoy.  It’s also right to exchange the gift of betrayal with those who have crossed you: THAT is gift for gift.  It is that exchange of gifts, no matter at what level, there is freedom.  Who doesn’t want to be free?  Who prefers slavery over freedom?  Sometimes, though, slaver can be used as a means of survival.  Some may take the chance at servitude to provide for their family because they have nothing else.

1st check on all fur-kids: food, water, litterboxes, shelter.
*Over the last couple of days, it’s been pretty warm so I’ve had his a/c unit on, but it’s a bit chillier this morning.  Socks’ house and his well-being was a major concern.  I had to disconnect his a/c unit and reconnect both heating units.
<>
Outcome: 6 ½ hrs. of sleep, one wakeup, lots of Lily love, and an EXTREMELY slow get up.
<>
Brief wifey conversation.  She’s in pain.
<>
1-egg open faced breakfast sandwich with Canadian bacon and cheese on whole wheat toast.
<>
Not much energy
<>
Cat crates back to the shed.  Light bulb changed in front of the bathroom.  Ever since I’ve been here, I don’t remember changing it.  A familiarization was necessary, then the change.
<>
Toby and I out for a well-behaved, late morning, 30min walk.
*overcast, mildly cold, stout NNE wind.
<>
Note to Self; Toby’s 12:pm feeding and insulin.
<>
Experiment; Two kinds of Asian mixes combined with sweet peppers, hotdogs and scrambled eggs added + 2-scoop chocolate sundae.  Quite edible.
<>
FINALLY, some Jasmine love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<>
Hopefully this was my last night of painting at work.
*I talked to a former manager.  He tried to espouse positivity, but he’s always been a bit of a blowhard.
<>
RAIN!
<>
Note to Self; Toby’s 1am feeding and insulin.
<>
Last check on all fur-kids.  It’s nice to see Jasmine pout without needing to be coaxed.
<>
2am nighty night.

God/dess Meditation: (alternate Frijastag) Heil to you, Forsizo, son of Paltar and Nanda!  You’re the god of justice, and reconciliation.  You sit in judgment of the right and wrong of all arguments.  We see you as god of the Thing.  We call out to you in our time of legal need.  We know that justice is a double-edged ax.  On the one side, if our argument is just, grant us the proper conclusion.  On the other side, if our argument is fraudulent, mete-out justice accordingly.  Whether in the court of legal proceedings or the court of public opinion, grant us the justice according to the rightness of our deeds.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, FORSIZO, as we honor the Forsizo that resides in us all!
