I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you've provided. I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

AM Elder Rune: Sowulo: The Sun, Sunna, a lightning bolt, victory, success, feminine life force, lighting the way to new ideas, vitality, confidence, action, wholeness, optimism, the clear light of day, can be a destructive lightening flash (clearing), the will to victory, life purpose, cosmic energies effecting life, appearance of a guiding principle, guidance in journeying, spiritual guidance, leadership.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

AM Armanen Rune: Bar:
Havamal 157.
A thirteenth I mention, when I sprinkle the son,

The young one, with holy water,
If once he faces the foe, then he cannot fall,
No sword can wound him so he collapses in the dust.

Inspiration, security, impending accidents that effect fate, life, birth: birth of the future life that is preordained for us, becoming, being projected, help in birth, son, bread, song, fountain, mountains, meaning of life on this planet/in this world, the power of becoming, reconstruction, Rune of continuous transformation, death and rebirth metamorphosis, return to the Mothers; the fountain as female symbol, the eternal spring of humans.
“Thy life strands in the hand of God, trust it in you” (List, 60).
<>
Interpretation: Success (Sowulo) leads to inspiration (Bar).
<>
Outcome: 07:00/7AM, cooler, but warming up quickly.
<>
1st breakfast from frozen; pancake-on-a-stick and a burrito.
<>
Toby and I out for a stroll around Newman U.  Toby started rooting around some tall grass.  I thought he was just having fun, until I saw a baby opossum break out into a small clearing.  It took some work, but I was able to get Toby’s attention elsewhere.

Family front yard time.  Long-tail’s eye is really looking bad.  Stubby once again has a limp.  Socks doesn’t seem to mind Stubby, but will challenge Long-tail every time.  There’s no way to tell if Socks may have had something to do with Long-tail’s eye injury; that is, if it really IS an injury.  Long-tail still won’t let me close enough to see.  No one should ever wonder why I keep a close eye on my fur-kids.
<>
I think I’m going to let my yard grow a bit longer for the warmer months; keep it trimmed, but I’ve read that yards do better in warm months if they have some substance to them.
<>
Some good online time.
<>
A very late 2nd breakfast; 3 eggs well nuked, topped with cheese and salsa, hand-shredded hashbrowns, turkey bacon…YUM!
<>
Computer preventive maintenance
<>
A load of laundry
*cleaned house to presentable standards
<>
Essie is certainly enjoying her extended outdoor time in the back yard.
<>
I reviewed 4 children’s books, “Norse of Course” taken from Norse sources:
*The Roots of Yggdrasil

*The Great Void to Asgard
*Building of the Wall
*Sif’s Golden Hair

The one good thing is that children finally have a resource for our lore.  Luckily, they DO claim historical fiction.  There are some faux pas in relation to known lore, but what the hel.  It’s good for young children to be exposed to Norse lore in some form.  They can learn better later.
<>
Well hel, that shot that morning.  Now what?

To brother’s with a bag of trash, returned with aluminum cans.
<>
The evening is dragging on.  There’s not much left to do but go to bed early for work tomorrow morning.  Nighty-night

PM God/dess Meditation: Paltar, you're the blameless god, gloriously shining god, restoration god, beloved son of Wotan and Frija.  Just as you restore Mittigart after Godotuom, restore us after we experience our own Godotuoms of life.  Let your goodness and your reconciliation smooth our paths on Earth. When our days here are over, light up death’s darkness with the promise of rebirth. Help is to avoid evil, and seek the good. Inspired by your example, we will keep our reputations spotless that our lives be proclaimed a victory of the Spirit, and our leaving his life a tragedy. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, PALTAR, as we honor the Paltar that resides in us all!
