Lowe’s for Krissy’s B-day present http://www.lowes.com/  I usually I spend about $50 to get her cut flowers, but this time, I bought her an evergreen tree, with bagged soil, mulch and root stimulator.  I know it’s not the right time for tree planting, yet with a good start and TLC, the tree specialist @ Lowe’s said it should do well (fingers cross for good luck).
Met with the IWW http://www.iww.org/ rep, decent guy, a bit oddly dressed, I’ll probably spend my bonus check on Union dues.

I think I’ve decided what I want to do with the IWW.  I’ll go ahead to pay the initiation fee, then pay advanced dues to April of next year, which will give me time to get taxes done.  From that point, I’ll pay a year in advance; that is, if I see any measurable benefit from membership.
