Havamal 148.
The fourth one I know, when a foe has tied up
My arms and hands;
The fetters fall from my leg, when I chant that song,
And off my hands the ropes come.
That which is offered, freedom, Wotanic energies, leadership, mouth, speech, the effort to convince, deed following the word, the Divine Breath, kingship, discussion, idea of that which is given/evolving, the spiritual power that is gained through speech, it is the breath of the world, its voice, strength that a person needs to rise up in power, freedom from the bondage of the material world.
Interpretation: Divine wisdom (Kenaz) leads to Divine Breath (Os).
*wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow…
Outcome: It’s a beautifully cool morning!
Toby was EXCEPTIONALLY well-behaved on our 1-mile walk.
Essie for outside time. Long-tail-Siamese, neighbor’s cat, wanted to come over. Essie challenged it. She made sure to let it know, “THIS IS MY QUEENDOM!” Of course, I was close-by incase things went south. Even Toby wanted to come out from the back-yard to help, but I was content to let Essie handle it, under my watchful eye. She did EXCEEDINGLY well. I was SO proud of the way she did handle it. However, I would NOT want to see her be confronted by some Tom-cat outside of my watch.
Breakfast fit for a KING! Whole-wheat waffles, turkey bacon, veggie sausage, potato coins, oven-baked eggs, orange juice, skim milk, syrup...FUCKING YUM!
Craftapalooza Craft show @ Century II to support my best buddy and his wife. Great girl-watching, too.
BK for a late lunch; looks like the King treatment is over.
