(Brachmânôd = Fallow month)

Plans:  back to the 10hr grind

AM Ancestor Meditation:  Manostag (parents) Elmer H. Reimer (1924-1963), Anna M. Schmidt (1926-1994)

I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the heritage you provided.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Picture

AM Elder Rune: Mannaz: The human, Heimo; our genetic connection, issues concerning; cooperation between people, the special human, the human intellect, awareness, kinship, social structure, the ability to work well within a social structure in an effort be effective within it, social interaction and order, perfected intellect, attract support from your peers,  Divine structure.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

Picture
AM Armanen Rune:  Os:
Havamal 148.
The fourth one I know, when a foe has tied up
My arms and hands;
The fetters fall from my leg, when I chant that song,
And off my hands the ropes come.

That which is offered, freedom, Wotanic energies, leadership, mouth, speech, the effort to convince, deed following the word, the Divine Breath, kingship, discussion, idea of that which is given/evolving, the spiritual power that is gained through speech, it is the breath of the world, its voice, strength that a person needs to rise up in power, freedom from the bondage of the material world.

Interpretation:  Social interaction (Mannaz) leading to freedom (Os).

Outcome: It’s going to be touch-n-go with Toby over lunch.  The warmth IS on, but I know he has PLENTY of fresh water and a place dug-in under the recycling table with shade.

Left the faucet running filling a load of dishes; spilled over onto the floor…FUCK!

Good AM work, workload full to overflowing.
Good @ work lunch, Toby will be fine.
Good PM work

It seems the new A/C held its own in the Cat House with temps in the upper 90s.  I have to presume it will hold its own in higher temps, too.

At work, I found out the dog from last Friday was handed over with no questions asked.  WHY THE FUCK NOT!  WHY WERE THESE PEOPLE NOT ASKED TO VERIFY THEIR OWNERSHIP?  Now I feel like shit for the dog.  The dog was absolutely amazing, handed over to someone who no doubt had no claim to ownership.  Further comments for posterity, not general consumption*.
Another person claim ownership of the dog has surfaced.  I hope someone reports or researches the tag number of the 1st claimant.  Someone is fucking lying  here.

Goddamn warm and windier than hel.

THESE GODDAMN GNATS AREN’T HELPING MY MOOD, EITHER!

Family outside time

Nothing satisfies for dinner…Toby benefited.

Shitty, shitty mood…

FIFA Women’s World Cup http://www.fifa.com/womensworldcup/index.html
Norway 1-2 England
USA v Colombia

With the heat coming on, I’m going to have to get back on the treadmill soon.

Shower, bed, nighty-night.

PM God/dess Meditation:  Mano, god of the moon:
Greetings to you, Mano, glorious male aspect of the moon; silver messenger on high.  You’re the measurer and teller of time.  As you fly silently on your way reflect into our souls the glory of the High Ones that we might aspire to the realms of the gods. Bathe our world in soft brightness, and whisper to our souls of joyous realms beyond our knowing. Mano let us see the goodness within us and without us, all the nights and days of our lives.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, MANO, as we honor the Mano that resides in us all!
