I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Armanen Rune: Bar:

A thirteenth I mention, when I sprinkle the son,

The young one, with holy water,
If once he faces the foe, then he cannot fall,
No sword can wound him so he collapses in the dust.

1st check on all fur-kids

Outcome: 5 ½ hours of sleep?  WTF?
<>
Essie and Toby wanted out on the Porch first thing; Toby I let, Essie I didn’t as I wanted to go back to bed.  Socks was on the porch but I chose to ignore him.  Oh well, not going back to sleep so I went to the back gate to call Socks.  When I did, Toby, for some reason, started barking, which spooked Socks as he was getting ready to jump the fence, then high-tailed it into the neighbor’s yard. Eventually, Socks came back onto the porch, I took him into his house, and I let Essie out, too.
<>
Breakfast; scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy.
<>
Toby and I out for a mid-morning (well, mid-morning for me), well-behaved walk.
*sunny warm, slight breeze.
<>
More Sorcha chat; her PODS moving container arrived!
*Thurisaz/Bar

Good visit @ the VA Primary Care.  My doctor is satisfied with my recovery from the accident.  Also, she’s convinced simvastatin was the cause of my excessive cramps and will prescribe another statin drug.  She is also putting in a consult with a surgeon for my (third) hernia surgery.
*lunch @ the VA Canteen
*Thurisaz/Bar

<>
Nothing on the shaper table @ work, so once again I stayed in layout/drill/trim.

Last check on all fur-kids.

God/dess Meditation: Ostara, trustworthy goddess; husband to Brego; the adherent god of scalds, keeper of the golden apples of youth and eternal life, keep us young inside. When we are starving for laughter, hungry for the lightness that comes with having few years on our shoulders, slip us one of those gleaming fruits that we may see the world through youthful eyes. Let springtime be in our steps, love in our hearts and a song on our lips. Change us to the core! Fill us with optimism and dreams for the future. WE GIVE YOU MOST A HEART-FELT HEIL, OSTARA, as we honor the Ostara that resides in us all!
