1st check on all fur-kids
<>
Plans: grave goods retrieval.

I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you've provided. I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.
*offered up some tobacco for Granny Aggie.
*no doubt the ones who brought the family over from Europe.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

AM Elder Rune: Teiwaz (U): The God Ziu, one handed god of war and honor, valor, uncompromising in judgments, personal management, a higher rationality, dedication to an ideal, balanced, victory in conflict, the spiritual warrior, self-sacrifice, motivated by a sense of justice, law and order, bravery, honesty, even-handedness, warfare as a part of evolution, mental and emotional order.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

AM Armanen Rune: Not:
Havamal 152.
An eighth is mine, to all the Folk

Useful to know in their suffering;
Where hatred rises up between man and man,
This I can settle fast.

Distress, compulsion of fate, separation, confrontation, understanding suffering, settled calm, mind over matter, necessity of fate, misery and death, change of luck as necessity, decision of the Wurtâ, Wurt/Urlag paid-for, cause-effect relations, capability to restructure Wurt/Urlag, That which cannot be averted, the Ur-law that is active in every creature, stress, karmic debt, karmic need, but with outlook for change of karma, banishing ill fortune by means of accepting karma and karmic law, Skuld, Divine justice that balances.
“Use your fate, do not strive against it” (List, 55).
<>
Interpretation: A higher rationality (Teiwaz) leads to a settled calm (Not)
<>
Outcome: slept-in until sunrise; however, with the longer days, that’s not saying much.
<>
I started my playlist of cartoons from YouTube.  What a great start to a Saturday morning.
<>
1st breakfast; a simple egg and cheese burrito with jalapenos added.
<>
At first I thought the morning was a bit rain-cooled, but after a 1-mile walk with Toby, we both were feeling the warmth.  His tongue was dragging; I was sweating…yup…muggy.
<>
Family outside time.
<>
2nd breakfast; egg-n-cheese omelet, silver-dollar pancakes.
<>
Late morning on the road; mostly cloudy.
*anymore when I go on the road I take a gun with me.
Dillons petrol
Grave decoration recovery:
Medford, Ok
Goessel, Ks
Lehigh, Ks
*a road trip like this out to the countryside revealed the wheat harvest is well underway; not complete by any means, but probably 50% complete.  Now the rains need to shut-off so the farmers can get back in the fields.  The corn crop is pretty damned healthy, too.  Most of it is probably standing @ 5-6ft tall.  Heavy spring rains are good for them, to harvest late summer.
*I’ve spent quite a bit of moolah on grave decorations.  It’s worth it to me to make the trip for retrieval.
*stopped in at the Burger King in Newton; unimpressive compared to my usual.
*clouds increase as I approach ICT.
*rain started just as I come into ICT.
Home
*yup, must’ve rained a wee bit.  Toby took shelter in the garden shed.  He came running when I called.
<>
WOW!  No sooner did I get settled in and another thunderstorm hit.  HEIL DONAR!
<>
Added family info to ancestor meditations.  LOL…glad I’m not getting paid by the hour to do this.  Either I’m too picky or just plain too slow.
<>
GODDAMN POWER WENT OUT FOR A MOMENT!  I had to reset some things.
<>
Essie is in her safe closet.  That’s how she’s always dealt with storms.
Toby has not left my side.  That’s how he’s always dealt with storms.
Socks is safe in his house.  That’s how I insist he deals with storms.

Filled out an evaluation on my Burger King on S. Meridian.  The manager said she’d get me two whopper dogs instead of my usual veggie-burger for my trouble.  Trouble?  It’s no trouble.  I get free stuff.
<>
Law and Order S.V.U. http://www.nbc.com/law-and-order-special-victims-unit ABSOLUTELY love this show!  The only aggravating thing about it is many episodes are rarely brought to a full conclusion; but then, perhaps S.V.U. stories rarely are.
<>
Overcast and raining most all day.  The weather dudes sure have their forecasting fucked up lately.
<>
Over to brother’s to help him haul a big-ass pipe from his basement.
*WOOOOOOOOW…look at those storm clouds.  Not so dry for days like the weather people have forecasted.
<>
Baked beer chicken for a late dinner.
<>
Bedtime potty-walk @ Socks’ request.  He was ready to go back into his house.
<>
Nighty-night

PM God/dess Meditation: Saga, we greatly honor you, goddess of history; part and parcel of our ever expanding past.  As we share in Minnatranc, whisper to our hearts of the stories about our gods, our ancestors, our heroes and their glories.  Be the resource for our memories should we ever forget from whence we come.  Gently remind us that we all have a rich history from which to pull.  For it is as we remember and respect the past can we deal with our present, knowing that we will someday have to deal with our spiritual debt.  We honor you, Saga, as a repository for the basis of all that we are, all that we are coming to be, and all that our offspring will inherit from us.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, SAGA, as we honor the Saga that resides in us all.
*C. Reimer/V. Elmersson
