I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today
<>
Elder Rune: Wunjo: Joy, pasture, happiness attained with the fulfillment of a wish, the strong Clanic relationship, social contacts, family ties, Clanic solidarity, fellowship, happiness, optimism, realization of true will, social and domestic harmony, good cheer, new social relationships, Fridu attained within a secure setting, a bright attitude of Wodan exposed.
Conversely:
Sadness, disruption/breakdown in the Clanic relationship, questionable social contacts, loser, miserable, loneliness, shunning, weakened family/Clanic ties, social and domestic disharmony, the inability to attain a wish, strife, alienation, pessimism, failed social relationships, Fridu is challenged, the shadow/dark side of Wodan is exposed.

Havamal 162:
A seventeenth I know, through a wise law

To join two lives in love;
And everyone is willing, no virginal woman
Will leave me lightly after this.

Dedication, faithfulness, fidelity, warns against frivolous, transient love affairs, the legal bond between man and woman, lasting love, two bound together by the primal law of life, unification, sanctity of marriage, the cross of wedlock, fulfillment, maintaining strict morals within the bonds of legal marriage, love, duality, bound by primal law, love, trust and marriage. Soul-mates, wedding, partnership, permanent bond, binding decision, hope, duration, horse, permanence and marriage as a law, unity of ego and you, sister souls, soul-love, God-Man-Woman, ideal love, twin souls, two made one, success, increase.
“Marriage is the raw-root of the Aryans” (List, 63).

1st check on all fur-kids: food, water, litterboxes, shelter.
<>
Outcome: An unwanted, solid, 8hrs of sleep.  Unwanted because I needed to be out and about an hour earlier.

Call into car shop.
<>
Breakfast burrito from frozen.

The Vue’s problem was a faulty oil pressure switch.  So, I agreed to that replacement and an oil pan gasket replacement; $600; another expense I didn’t need.  Will take it in tomorrow morning.
*1st tree expense $425, 2nd tree expense $1,000, tire expense $500, now this $600 expense.  This shoots my strike fund in half.
<>
Valley Feed and Seed; fly ointment for toby + a 3ft chew stick for Toby + sand plum jelly for me.
<>
That little burrito didn’t do much for me as the morning progressed.  Cold cereal with whole grain toast with the sand plum jelly.
<>
Toby and I out for a late morning, perfectly behaved, 30min walk.
*warm, partly cloudy, no breeze.
<>
Essie with some supervised front yard time.
<>
Box casserole with onions and sweet peppers added + a Klondike Bar.

No sooner do I get into work I found out the part for which I was called into work Sunday, was scrapped by inspection due to a planning failure…WHEW, not me.  Planning neglected to allow for test strips to accompany the order.  So all that work was for nothing, AND what I thought would be double time on Sunday; rather, 4hrs of straight time ($100+) for 36min on the job.  Other than that, it was a good night at work.  More than 10hrs of time allotments turned in for an 8hr shift.  ALL SORTS of compliments on my haircut.

Last check on all fur-kids.

Bed at 1am for an early as possible wakeup.

God/dess Meditation: Mano, god of the moon:
Greetings to you, Mano, glorious male aspect of the moon; silver messenger on high.  You’re the measurer and teller of time.  You’re the counterpart to Sunna, the feminine aspect of the sun.  As you fly silently on your way reflect into our souls the glory of the High Ones that we might aspire to the realms of the gods. Bathe our world in soft brightness, and whisper to our souls of joyous realms beyond our knowing. Mano, let us see the goodness within us and without us, all the nights and days of our lives.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, MANO, as we honor the Mano that resides in us all!
