I didn’t know you all that well as you had Multiple Sclerosis almost as long as I can remember and died when I was nine years old.  Yet, I have to believe you to be a great man, because I doubt that my mother would’ve picked a slouch to marry.

I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.
* no doubt the ones who brought the family over from Europe.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Elder Rune: Hagalaz: The cosmic seed of potential, a sacred enclosure/shell, shaping, evolution, protection within, holiness, a type of Godotuom; destruction/regeneration, evolution, destructive elements, unavoidable unpleasantness, pruning, potentially destructive but change will occur on its own given time.  Embrace the necessary destruction.  Don't rail against it.  Benefit from it.

Havamal 161:
A sixteenth I speak if a maid is reluctant,
To wake her lust and desire;
I change the heart of the delightful woman,
Then to me her wishes turn.

Some time ago, these kids up the street offered to mow my yard for something like $25-$30 or so.  Today, I offered one $10 to mow only my front-yard with my mower while I edged.  The purpose was for me to watch how he did.  He did well enough.  I also mowed a bit in the hindmost parts behind all the construction.

God/dess Meditation: Paltar, you're the blameless god, gloriously shining god, rising god, restoration god, husband to the faithful Nanda, beloved son of Wodan and Frija.  Just as you restore Mittigart after Godotuom, restore us after we experience our own Godotuoms of life.  Let your goodness and your reconciliation smooth our paths on Earth. When our days here are over, light up death’s darkness with the promise of rebirth. Help us to avoid evil and seek the good. Inspired by your example, we will keep our reputations spotless that our lives be proclaimed a victory of the Spirit, and our leaving his life a tragedy. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, PALTAR, as we honor the Paltar that resides in us all!
