(Brachmânôd = Fallow month)
<>
I went to bed early last night knowing it was going to be a rough night with the storm and the fur-kids; I was right.  Once it was over, Toby “yelped” to go potty outside, and Essie was all over me.
<>
1st check on all fur-kids
*rather than come outside after being cooped up because of the storm, Socks was more concerned he “could see the bottom of food in his bowl” even though there was still plenty.  I filled his bowl and he was ready to come back inside.  He’s a food whore.
<>
Stubby was exceptionally hungry this morning, too.
<>
Plans: work 10 hrs.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

AM Armanen Rune: Gibor:
Havamal 163.
An eighteenth I learned, yet I would never
Let a woman or maid know it,
For everyone knows what’s best for himself-
This leads me to the conclusion of the songs-
The one it shall be then, that lies in my arms
As betrothed wife and as sister.

The scald, awakening, comprehension of the diving from below upward; from humanity outward, secrecy, gift/giver, gift of life, that which is best for the individual, fulfillment, sacred marriage, being ONE with the sister soul, protection against evil forces, being/seeing the Divine, the cosmic consciousness and the divine principle, two forces having a singular origin, the spiritual ego, death-life cycle, protection against evil forces, union of the gods and the World, the uninterrupted chain in the cycle of eternal returns, the Creator and the Created, the deepest mysteries of the Universe.
“Man, be one with God” (List, 67).
<>
Interpretation: A Clanic disconnect (Wunjo) leads to an awakening (Gibor).
*interesting.
<>
Outcome: Everybody survived last night in fine fashion and back to normal.

Good AM work; hard metals
Hone for lunch; it’s not really all that hot, but Toby was certainly glad.
Good PM work; methinks my mobility is appreciated.
*5 hrs. of overtime offered and accepted.

Hodgepodge for dinner.

Surprisingly, Essie wasn’t too interested in the back yard; of course, neither was Toby.

Bones: The Head in the AbutmentThe death of a professional hockey player is investigated after his headless corpse is found in a river, and Booth's love of the sport proves to be an asset in the case, but it also reunites him with an old rival and puts him back on the ice.

PM God/dess Meditation: Die (pronounced “Dee”) Wurtâ:
Die Wurtâ, all three, are present at birth
To weave our Fate from merriment to dearth.
Urda, Werdanda and Sculd, the dark queens renowned;
Glorious ladies ‘neath the Tree, work your mysteries in us now.

That which “was” we can clearly see.
That which “is becoming” forms now in our deeds.
That which “is owed”, may be, but we cannot see.
We celebrate die Wurtâ, the Ladies Three, for all eternity.
