*something a bit peculiar happened once home and getting out from the car. No doubt due to the dampness in the atmosphere, my glasses fogged over. Normally that wouldn’t be so peculiar, but it was only one lens that fogged over; the eye with cataracts. The other lens was clear. I had to check to make sure the lens was still in it. Good eye, lens clear; cataracts eye, lens clouded…I wonder why? Odd, I would say.
It was an EXCELLENT lunch with Obi and CJ. Hopefully it was the official beginning of good things to come. Afterward, we made a trip out to White Dove http://www.whitedove-wichita.com/.

Recently, there has been a gray kitty hanging around here. I’ve been hesitant to engage him/her; however, I’ve decided to go ahead and do so. I’ve named him/her Shade (gray kitty, 50 SHADES of Gray) and have given him/her some canned food. Shade was beginning to respond to my kindness. That was two days ago. I haven’t seen any sign of him/her since. Well shit, now I’m going to worry. My hope is I don’t find dead like I found YaWK. That would suck. I can only hope someone has taken him in, NOT to the Humane Society. I don’t think Shade would handle the confinement well and probably put-down quickly.
