Toby and I out to Newman U. Investigating a new area. Toby headed face-first into poison ivy. IMMEDIATELY following the walk, I had to take off my shirt to wrap it around Toby to protect my arms from contamination. Once home, I stripped to get clothes into the washer and Toby into the shower…yes, shower, not the tub. Once Toby was done it was my turn to shower. Yes, I am this sensitive to poison ivy. Even after all this caution, I’ll still watch for infection over the next few days.
