Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price

Advise the Spirit man today

Havamal 163:
An eighteenth I learned, yet I would never

Let a woman or maid know it,
For everyone knows what’s best for himself-
This leads me to the conclusion of the songs-
The one it shall be then, that lies in my arms
As betrothed wife and as sister.

The scald, awakening, passion, mystery, the end, comprehension of the diving from below upward; from humanity outward, secrecy, gift/giver, gift of life, that which is best for the individual, fulfillment, sacred marriage, being ONE with the sister soul, protection against evil forces, being/seeing the Divine, the cosmic consciousness and the divine principle, two forces having a singular origin, the spiritual ego, death-life cycle, protection against evil forces, union of the gods and the World, the uninterrupted chain in the cycle of eternal returns, the Creator and the Created, the deepest mysteries of the Universe, the end.
“Man, be one with God” (List, 67).

Interpretation: Stress (Naudiz) brings an awakening (Gibor).

1st check on all fur-kids: food, water, litterboxes, shelter.
<>
Outcome: 8hrs of solid sleep!
<>
Lily woke me up playing with SOMETHING at the head of the bed.  First, my hand finds a sticky note saying “Happy Birthday.” Second, I find that Lily was playing with a sack.  In it was the latest Rammstein CD.  OMGs, wifey left a birthday gift for me.  Messaging her, she said she left it Friday for me to find it Saturday (my birthday), and I am just now discovering it.  Jeez…
<>
1-egg open faced breakfast sandwich with cheese on whole grain bread + a banana.
<>
Toby and I out for a 10:45am, well behaved, 30min walk.
*mostly cloudy, fairly warm, refreshing south wind.
<>
Cheeseburger mac from a box, fresh sliced green peppers added + stir-fry-coleslaw…YUM!
<>
Thunder
Tried twice to get Socks in his house
Rain
NOW Socks was ready to go into his house, but I had to carry him.
Toby is not leaving my side
Essie is in her safe closet
Lily is oblivious.
<>
Toby out for a potty walk.
<>
A pretty good return to work; not too busy, not too boring, not a lot turned-in in time allotments, everything was just right.
<>
Last check on all fur-kids.
<>
2am nighty night.
<>
The standoff continues.
<>
Further comment not for public consumption…at least at this point.

God/dess Meditation: (alternate Manostag) Nirdu, brother-husband, to Nirda, parents of the Wanâ; Ing-Frô and the Frouwa, beloved god of harbors and seas close to land; help us to remember the cargoes of wealth that float to our doors daily from the wonderful Universe in which we live. Though our misfortunes may rise and fall like the tides, the chance of prosperity, like the eternal sea brimming with fish, is still there. Like the salt-sea spray, awaken us to the possibilities that surround us, so that our nets may be cast wide and return full of life’s gifts. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, NIRDU, as we honor the Nirdu that resides in us all!

Nirda, sister-wife to Nirdu.  We give thanks to the Great Goddess Nirda, Goddess of the land, of soil, and growing things.  Goddess, too, of the scythe and of the sacrifice.  Beautiful and terrible.  Wise in Your power.  We praise you…HEIL NIRDA, Mother of the Wanâ, sister-wife to Nirdu.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, NIRDA, as we honor the Nirda that resides in us all!  HEIL NIRDA Divine Queen! HEIL!  HEIL! HEIL!
