Extended conversation with my mortgage company.  They see my regular mortgage payment but not my escrow shortage payment.  They said it probably just hasn’t applied yet, which doesn’t make sense to me because they were both were made simultaneously via my bank’s bill pay service.  The associate made all sorts of notes on my account.  THEN, she said I might be available for an even lower interest rate.  Over to yet another associate, who seemed to think I was at the lowest interest rate available, but he’s looking into it and will return my call.

Call in from bruzzer.  My helping him with his unemployment claim was successful!  He’s amazed at all the backpay he’s going to get.  He’s über grateful.  I was glad to do it.  He even mentioned something about he owes me.  At first, I jokingly told him I’ll take 1/3 of all that back pay.  I told him he owes me nothing.  That’s what family does.

Rest Toby’s nest in the backyard.  Toby’s a digger.  He has created for himself a nest in the southeast corner of the yard.  He digs so seriously and throws it out, that sometimes it’s necessary to rake it back.
