Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today
<>
Elder Rune: Jera: Harvest, 12th Rune of the Futhark, the number 12, cycles, a turning point, cause and effect, the Rune of return, two halves of a cyclic whole, harmony-in-movement-in-balance, improvement, expansion, growth, progress, patience, fruition of plans, the mystic union between Earth and the Cosmos, the result of a previous action, appropriate reward for the right (or wrong) action.
*A2R4; Aett 2 root 4, Yggdrasil’s root of destruction

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

Armanen Rune: Not:
Havamal 153:
An eighth is mine, to all the Folk

Useful to know in their suffering;
Where hatred rises-up between man and man,
This I can settle fast.

Distress, suffering, compulsion of fate, separation, confrontation, strife settled, understanding suffering, settled calm, mind over matter, necessity of fate, misery and death, change of luck as necessity, decision of the Wurtâ, Wurt/Urlag paid-for, cause-effect relations, capability to restructure Wurt/Urlag, That which cannot be averted, the Ur-law that is active in every creature, stress, karmic debt, karmic need, but with outlook for change of karma, banishing ill fortune by means of accepting karma and karmic law, Skuld, Divine justice that balances.
“Use your fate, do not strive against it” (List, 55).
*H2R2; Halbdutzend 2, root 2, Irminsul’s root of destruction

Rune Lesson: OH THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS THIS COULD GO! Is the harvest a bad harvest resulting in distress? Are we at a turning point in our lives that we bring suffering onto ourselves? As I try to always look on the bright side, I can see a harmony in balance that brings a change of luck.
*from destruction to destruction.

1st check on all fur-kids: food, water, litterboxes, shelter.
<>
Outcome: JsFnChst! The alarm didn’t go off! Up at 5. Call into Jan letting her know my plight. She would have to tend to kitties, Toby and the house.
*WTF? Alarm goes off @ 5:20? WTF? SHIT! Must’ve bumped something. No time to check.
<>
Boring day at work. One tool box cleaned. Nothing. A bit of clean-up.
<>

God/dess Meditation: Tuesday/Ziu’s Day/Ziu/An: Tyr
Ziu, god of selflessness; of war & glory, one-handed god, sacrificial god, Sergeant at Arms at the Thing (re: Dienstag/Thing Day), enforcer of law & order, bravest of all gods; you chained the Fenris Wolf that threatened the worlds. We can’t do that, but we can do other things, some ordinary, others heroic. Remind us of your bravery and your sacrifice. Give us the courage and strength we need to fetter out own Fenris. Keep us mindful of our duties and help us keep our fears bound as tightly as you bound old Slaver Mouth. Thus doing, may we share in your glory by imitating you. WE GIVE YOU MOST A HEART-FELT HAIL, ZIU, as we honor the Ziu that resides in us all!
